Jolly Roger was born in the bustling town of Nicholson’s Tomb. His grandfather was a great fighter known to all as Orsulak. His father was also a fighter who was infamous for his exploits as the Urine Killer. Roger’s father was ultimately hanged after being rounded up by a gang of thieves looking for revenge for killing and defiling one of their own.

Roger was trained from a young age in the ways of a warrior. His teaching was based on the desire of his family to exact revenge on the thieves who killed his father. Roger has always felt torn between his moral beliefs and his desire to please his family, but he has taken an oath to one day find those responsible for his father’s death and put to rest the demons that pursue him.

Jolly Roger has taken part in many adventures in recent years, but is not driven by money or fame. He is constantly looking for information that will ultimately lead him to those that killed his father in the hopes that he can fulfill his destiny and get on with his life. Due to the frustration of being unable to get any closer to his goal, Roger finds himself becoming increasingly aggressive and violent. He is constantly looking for a fight and it is eating away at him.

In recent months, Roger has joined his current party, which actually includes a thief. To date, he has not had any reason to think that the thief in his party has anything to do with the death of his father, but believes he may have some information that would assist the fighter’s quest. For the time being, Roger fights together with the thief… however, should he learn that the thief played even the slightest role in the death of his father, he will be faced with a quite a decision.
